My project is a unique and thoughtful creation that caters to solo travelers seeking a temporary living space. Drawing inspiration from hostels but infusing it with love and comfort, I have designed a space that balances privacy and social connection. The 11 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, are strategically arranged to maximize natural light, even in a building with windows on only one side. To further enhance the experience, I have incorporated loggias for each room. The guesthouse offers shared facilities such as a living room with a large screen, a laundry room, a kitchen, and a dedicated working area. In the individual rooms, guests can enjoy the luxury of a balcony, a private bathroom, and a unique mezzanine layout with a single bed placed atop the bathroom, taking advantage of the apartment’s double height. This design not only provides a comfortable and private haven for solo travelers but also encourages social interaction and the formation of friendships among like-minded individuals.
