In the transformation of the Tower of Lions in Tripoli, Lebanon, into a Cinema Art Center, our project reimagines the cinematic encounter. Attendees not only watch movies but actively engage in the narrative. As they traverse the fort’s corridors, senses are awakened, transcending the visual and auditory realms. Thematic aromas and tactile elements woven into the architecture create an immersive cinematic adventure. This endeavor transcends the tower’s historical significance, transforming it into a dynamic entity that transports visitors into the essence of cinematic storytelling. Tower of Lions Cinema pioneers a new era in film appreciation, celebrating it as a multisensory art form and elevating Tripoli’s cultural landscape.
