BOUNDING CIRCULATION

Achrafieh’s diverse building typologies are strongly shown on the ground floor levels where there is a shift between having parkings disconnected from the street or entrances as meeting points for houses.
The circulation happening on those ground floor typologies is divided into two different types of circulation; having organized types of circulation recessed from the street creating a central core and chaotic placement of circulation where it is either being connected to the street, overlapping it or not.
Those moments are taking part of a community center and a wellness center connecting by a circulation core shifting between one mass and another and acting as a loop to the garden facing.
The sloping of the buildings after the analysis, divided the plot into two parts, creating the void between the main circulation happening on the edges. This void is a reflection of the central cores as the calmest area in a wellness center, with the circulation happening horizontally, shifting the direction of space between inside and outside the functional spaces.
