This project aims to revitalize Tripoli, Lebanon, by merging its rich historical heritage with the unifying power of cinema and architecture. Focusing on the restoration of the Mamluke fort and the abandoned train station, the initiative seeks to transform these landmarks into a vibrant cultural hub that inspires hope and fosters community. The scope includes restoring these key historical sites to their former glory while integrating modern, sustainable design. It also involves establishing a cinema and cultural complex as a central point for arts and community gatherings and enhancing public spaces to encourage social interaction with a commitment to environmental responsibility. Priorities for the project are community engagement, historical preservation, economic revitalization through tourism, and employing sustainable and innovative practices. Amid economic challenges, this vision aims to turn the fort and train station into symbols of hope and unity, reflecting Tripoli’s resilience and future potential.
