The first project is a folly based on moments from Villa Savoye by Le Corbusier and has a similar language. Its concept is merging the exterior to the interior in a fluid and unique space, alternating between open/close, inside/outside spaces. The experience comes by passing a path shaped by ramps through multiple heights in a continuous way. Its horizontal and thin aspect shows its stability, balance and equilibrium and compensates the contrasted parts.
The second precedent is designed for a music band. It is divided into a public and private space connected through bridges. Visitors can have access to the public space through the piazza, it has an underground and an outdoor stage. The private space can be only reached from the backyard. It is an apartment that has connections, only accessible by the performers, leading to the public space. The whole structure resembles the phonograph visually and functionally.
