This project is made for digital nomads (a person who earns a living working online in various locations of their choosing rather than a fixed business location).
I chose to reflect on their flexible way of working and interacting.
According to John Lang in his book Creating Architectural Theory (1987):
“Flexible layouts are those in which the structure is easy to change to accommodate different needs. This is more than is generally implied by semifixed-feature space. Usually, it implies a change in the enclosing boundary and/or its internal structure”.
Therefore, I concretized this concept in my project by designing a flexible Veil that covers the structure, adapting to its enclosure, and covering its major parts.
