Centered between Sabra and Tarik Jdideh, both neighborhoods have become defined by a large, impromptu settlement of people. It is a neighborhood that hosts mostly poor people. with no spaces to breathe. There is no space for kids to hover around; kids tend to play next to the trash or in the middle of the road; between work and school, kids have no space to be kids. This project will serve kids. A space that allows kids to move freely around the space throughout the circulation, interacting with the architectural elements and treating them as a game. where Children don’t confine themselves to one particular space; they do activities that take place simultaneously. allowing children to create their own experience throughout the connection generated between the spaces. This space will be manipulated in order to create a new experience.
